Beginning with a single store and 6 concessions Apricot have expanded rapidly to over 1200 outlets worldwide through standalone stores and shop-in-shops/concessions. They currently trade in the UK, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Netherlands, Austria, Ireland, USA, Canada and are constantly seeking new markets.

“Born in 2007, in London, Apricot’s founders Philip Chaimo and Sophia Ciampa saw there was a need for a brand specializing in unique and eclectic prints..”

They had been running boutique stores and realised there was a gap in the market for a brand that created and designed high quality beautiful prints. Many brands had been offering too many of the same print type or, worse still, market prints that could be found anywhere.

They embarked on a journey of research, design and print development. In the beginning it proved a difficult task as many print mills had large minimums. However, their passion for prints meant they persevered and Apricot is now fast becoming renowned for its print - from simple polka dots and geos to all over digital florals. Apricot aims to create collections each season that are distinctive, feminine and unique. Trends are researched through catwalks, world travel, blogs and forecasting sites.


They focus on trends and develop styles that suit the Apricot profile. The intention is to create beautiful style statements that have intrinsic value.
